Beet, Kale & Spelt Salad

The Story: There is only one dish on our Farm'r menu that has been with us since very first day – a simple salad of beets marinated in sherry vinaigrette and some dill with local Feta cheese and pumpkin seeds. If we have a signature dish, this is it.

Based around a classic Eastern European flavour profile, we have added kale and spelt berries to our simple salad to make it eat more like a meal, either as an individual salad or as an accompaniment to our meals.

This hearty, satisfying combination has been embraced by young and old alike, and this dish has a cult following amongst many of our youngest fans! Beets are kid friendly? Who knew!
