Quinoa Tabbouleh

The Story: Did you know that quinoa grows in Ontario? Neither did we – until we met the fine folks from Quinta Quinoa – a superfood company that now has plantings in Ontario and the Prairies. Packed with nutrients, it is a nutritionally superior quinoa that is slightly nutty and sweet in flavour. 

This salad is fresh taste of the Mediterranean, with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, lots of fresh herbs, a basic olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing, and green oak lettuce vertically farmed in Toronto from our friends at Waterwheel Farms. Zaatar spice is the finishing touch for this fresh summer salad.
